The Decree No. 178/2017, of 30 May, was published seeking to take a further step in the implementation of the "Simplex" Program for Justice, with the creation of the One-Stop Shop of the Administrative and Fiscal Courts.
Noting the innovative nature of this measure, the citizen can obtain information and certificates on any lawsuit that runs in the administrative courts of the circle and tax courts, as well as deliver procedural documents or physical documents, when admissible, and to consult lawsuits in any circle court and tax court of the country.
On the other hand, taking into account the impact that the establishment of this service will have on the operation of the system and, in particular, on the organization and functioning of the Registrar's Office, it is expected that the One-Stop Shop will function until the end of the current year and on an experimental basis, only in the Administrative and Tax Court of Sintra. After that date, this model of organization may be extended to all administrative and tax courts.
This decree will enter into force on 1 June 2017.
