Transposition of several Directives of the European Parliament and of the Council into the internal legal system 01 Jun 2017
May proved to be very fruitful with regard to the transposition of Directives into the internal legal system, of which we highlight the following:
- Law No. 26/2017, of 30 May, transposes the Directive 2013/55/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 20 November 2013, amending Directive 2005/36/EC on the recognition of professional qualifications and Regulation (EU) No. 1024/2012 on administrative cooperation through the Internal Market Information System (“IMI”). This diploma also facilitates the recognition of professional qualifications and reduces the constraints on the free movement of persons, and makes the third amendment to Law No. 9/2009, of 4 March;
- Law No. 27/2017, of 30 May, transposes Directive 2014/54/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 16 April 2014, establishes measures facilitating the uniform application and practical execution of the rights conferred by Article 45 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and Articles 1 to 10 of Regulation (EU) No. 492/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 5 April 2011, on the free movement of workers;
- Law No. 29/2017, of 30 May, transposes Directive 2014/67/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 15 May 2014, on the implementation of Directive 96/71/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 16 December 1996, concerning the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services, and amending Regulation (EU) No. 1024/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 25 October 2012, on administrative cooperation through the Internal Market Information System (“IMI”);
