The Presidential Decree No. 91/17, of 7 June, came to update the amounts of the guaranteed national minimum wage as well as the amounts for major economic groups.
In such sense, shall be deemed as guaranteed national minimum wage the amount of Akz. 16.503,30 (sixteen thousand five-hundred and three Kwanzas and thirty cents).
The same occurs with the guaranteed national minimum wage, for major economic groups:

Extractive industry and trading: Akz. 24.754,95 (twenty-four thousand seven-hundred and fifty four Kwanzas and ninety five cents);

Services transport and manufacturing industry: Akz 20.629, 13 (twenty thousand six-hundred and twenty nine Kwanzas and thirteen cents);

Agriculture: Akz. 16.503,30 (sixteen thousand five-hundred and three Kwanzas and thirty cents).
The legal diploma safeguards the cases where a company is expressly unable to keep up with such wage increase. In such cases, the company shall request to the Provincial Directorate of the Public Administration, Labor and Social Security authorization to apply different wages from those above mentioned, provided that such temporary inability is duly justified by the economic and financial situation of company.
The diploma entered into force on the date of its public and revokes all the legislation that contradicts what is stated in the present law, namely the Presidential Decree No. 144/14, of 9 June.
